The downside to dry erase wall covering is that it gets rather expensive at the upper end and for larger amounts. The trade off to this is that compared to the hanging boards it can simply disappear when not in use.
Dry erase wall covering is best for someone who wants to be able to write a lot and leave it visible easily. The boards are best for people who only want to write short messages. So if the most you want to write on the walls is something like “Buy Milk” then a board is ample. If you want to be able to put ideas, messages and complex complete thoughts, you’re going to want the space offered by dry erase wall coverings.
